Edith CHAN

Impact Educator

Edith believes that true social change begins when people use their hearts to feel the world, their minds to think positively, and their creativity to solve problems. She is dedicated to helping individuals uncover their hidden talents and become the best version of themselves, viewing education as a liberating tool that sparks empathy and personal growth rather than a rigid, pre-defined path.

At SONOVA, Edith channels this vision into her role as an Impact Educator, blending her background in psychology, curriculum design, and multimedia with the power of media. She uses impact storytelling to reshape narratives, transform mindsets, and inspire collective action, collaborating with a passionate team to build a more thoughtful and inclusive society.

Her approach is backed by deep academic expertise, holding a BSc from CUHK, an MSc in Multimedia from PolyU, and two Master’s degrees from CityU in Applied Psychology and Educational Psychology (with Distinction). This unique combination allows her to design educational narratives that genuinely connect with people and liberate minds.

Outside of work, Edith’s perspective on life and growth is deeply shaped by her journey of resilience after surviving a stroke three years ago. Today, she focuses her energy on creativity and self-reflection, continuing her lifelong commitment to volunteering, teaching Zentangle art, and leading docent tours in museums.
