“Creative Beings @ Sham Shui Po” is a future talent programme aims in nurturing creative talent for social impact, and providing a unique “work x life x community” experience.

During the 5-month programme, SONOVA played the role of creative agency and programme curator, including partnering with 11 local creative businesses in Sham Shui Po and recruiting 24 local youth (18-25 years old), together they had pilot social innovation projects to reimagine new possibilities with the community.

Apprenticeship & Creative Residency

Our partnering employers provided apprenticeships that covered a wide range of industries and businesses based in Sham Shui Po, including bookshops, coffee shops, an optical shop, barbershop, art space, community art studio, second-hand clothing store, youth hostel, and social enterprise after-death services.

Embodying the concept of a “walking and living bookshop” to become a part of the community (Obie, intern of Book Punch)
