With the launch of the Swire Marine Discovery Centre at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum (HKMM), the Museum was looking forward to inspiring the public to explore the wonders of the ocean from different perspectives.
SONOVA believes that there are shared stories, and shared values between the museum and the public. Through impact storytelling and the curation of authentic experiences, SONOVA co–created a new narrative about HKMM’s commitment to the pillars of maritime history, arts, and marine education.

Tailor-made workshops with ocean-inspired themes of mindfulness, STEM education, art, and sustainability to reimagine the endless possibilities of the venue
Impact Storytelling
Produced a corporate video and launched a social media campaign to engage the public into discovering their shared memories and values with HKMM
Changemakers' Platform
Curated a cross-sector harbour symposium to establish HKMM’s role as a hub for cross-sector dialogue and partnership in marine conservation, education, arts, and sustainable development
Envisioning the Future
Through a fusion of engaging pilot programmes, SONOVA invites the imagination of the endless possibilities of HKMM’s engagement in arts development, education, and sustainability.
Through telling impactful stories, SONOVA strives to deepen the public’s connection with the ocean and bring out the sense of marine stewardship. By creating a platform for cross-sector collaboration, SONOVA leaves a lasting impression that the community can continue to build upon for a sustainable future.
